Event Services

The Service Center provides a full range of planning and
coordination services related to special events on campus.
When planning an event on campus, we suggest you take a moment
to review the following “Checklist” to determine
if Physical Plant services will be required. Contact the Service
Center at 3494 to arrange for event services.
“On-site” Physical Plant coordinator during the
event to oversee all Plant activities (this service is usually
requested during “off-hour” events)
- HVAC (heating/air conditioning/ventilation) requirements
during the event
- On-site support for electrical services
- Set-up for equipment requiring electrical service
- Interior or exterior lighting
- Parking lot lighting
- On-site support for plumbing services
- Set up for equipment requiring a water source
- On-site custodial support
- Restroom re-stocking prior to, during and/or after an
event
- Additional cleaning of an area prior to, during and/or
after an event
- On-site Landscape Services support
- Additional cleaning of an area prior to, during and/or
after an event
- Delivery and pick up of trash cans
- Irrigation rescheduling for event sites
- Marking irrigation lines in cases where items such as
stakes are driven into turf areas
- Logistical support for transporting property

extension 3494. Depending upon the size, duration and complexity
of the event, there may be a charge for some of these services.
However, many of our services are considered routine or minor
in scope with no expense to the requestor. This information
applies to student organizations as well, please share this
information with them. |
